One of America’s most popular full-size trucks, the 2025 GMC Sierra 1500 blends power with massive capability and luxury comfort. Whether you need a truck for work or play, the model’s eight trim levels make it easy to find the right combination of features for your needs.

Understanding the Trims of the 2025 GMC Sierra 1500

Pro

Perfect for work and drivers seeking an affordable pickup, the entry-level Pro trim brings power and utility. It comes standard with a 310-hp TurboMax engine that makes 430 lb-ft of torque. Rear-wheel drive is standard, but you can opt for a four-wheel drivetrain if you need more confidence on challenging terrains. The bed boasts 12 cargo tie-downs for seamless cargo management.

SLE

If you’re looking for an affordable truck with lots of comfort and modern tech, the SLE trim is for you. This model comes with all Pro features and improves them with heated front seats, including a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with lumbar support, and a heated steering wheel. A huge 13.4-inch center touchscreen replaces the base infotainment system, and you also get a 12.3-inch driver information display.

Elevation

Ready for the roads less traveled, the Elevation trim comes with 20-inch wheels for added traction and standard LED fog lamps that improve visibility in adverse driving conditions. Unique exterior styling makes this trim stand out from the crowd.

SLT

The SLT brings more power, boasting a 5.3L EcoTec3 V8 engine that makes 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. Exterior upgrades include a chrome grille and chrome door handles, front and rear bumpers, and exclusive badging. Inside, the front row adds a 10-way power-adjustable seat for the passenger.

AT4

Made for extreme off-roading, this trim swaps the gas engine for a 3.0L Duramax turbo-diesel with 305 horsepower and 495 lb-ft of torque. Standard four-wheel drive pairs with a two-speed Autotrac transfer case for optimal torque and power distribution. Skid plates, all-terrain tires, and a two-inch factory lift with Rancho monotube shocks and off-road suspension are other standard upgrades.

AT4X

The AT4X builds on the AT4 with additional performance upgrades, including front and rear electronic-locking differentials and Multimatic DSSV dampers. The interior brings upscale comfort, including 16-way heated and ventilated front seats with a massage function.

Denali

The Denali trim comes with the same engine as the SLT but boasts luxury upgrades, including 12-way power-adjustable front seats, perforated leather seating surfaces, and authentic open-pore wood and patterned aluminum trims.

Denali Ultimate

The epitome of luxury and power, this trim level comes with a 420-hp 6.2L EcoTec3 V8 engine, signature exterior accents, and Denali interior styling. It boasts the same ultra-comfortable seats as the AT4X and a range of advanced technologies, including Super Cruise hands-free driving assistance.
