The extended warranty on the drivetrain is very misleading, my GMC Sierra has 72,000 miles on it and it’s nine years old and falls under drivetrain warranty however we do not have 100% of all of the services performed. Service manager Ben and his supervisor were not very friendly and somewhat combative during our conversations. At one point he called my wife, a liar and claim they had records of our audio conversation. We asked him to review the tapes, but we’re still waiting for the call back. We recently bought a Nissan Altima at bommarito, but will think twice before purchasing our next vehicle from Bommarito.

Rich was really personable and friendly. He didn't try to oversell or push us to buy a vehicle. He went through all of the vehicle's gadgets so we knew what all it could do. We had tested a Buick at another dealership and the salesman was rude and made us feel like we were wasting his time. Rich didn't make us feel that way at all. We appreciated that and also him talking to us, not at us. He was a great salesman. The financial process was also a smooth process. Joe, the service advisor did not appear to know how to do his job or how to listen to the customer to learn what needed to be done. I scheduled the appointment online and included details as to what needed to be done and even included the Service Bulletin number that needed to be checked. He claimed there was no information in the appointment despite the fact that someone called me on the phone after making the appointment to confirm what we needed done. Joe was also the least helpful and least friendly service writer in the lane, of course, my luck. Austin was great, but unfortunately, I was stuck with Joe because he wrote up the ticket. In addition to the service and safety and emissions test, and the bulletin, I asked them to check for oil leaks and Joe calls and says the tech says you need a new front cover and turbo lines and that will be $3350 with more further explanation as to the actual talk parts and labor required. I asked if more detail oils he included on the repair order and he said yes. Zero additional detail was provided. $3k oil leak repair on a $9k car… with zero detail and then you want to charge me $150 for a bogus diagnostic fee?! Sure. Grab your money now because that’s the last you’ll get from me. Bommarito lost a customer. Sadly, this is the second issue we have had with a Bommarito service department in a year after facilitating the purchase of hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of cars from you over the past decade or more.. No more.

I had my vehicle in for various fluid changes. While the vehicle was already up in the air, the tech looked at the two front struts. I know times are tough, but charging me the $250 diagnostic fee for glancing at the struts is outrageous. Then, at time to pay the invoice, there is an upcharge for using a credit card. This was my first visit to Bommarito GMC, and it will be my last.

Coupon online oil change 4:15 appt. States courtesy check multiple items, tire rotation and AC Delco 6 qt Dexos1 synthetic oil and filter. Techs left at 4pm no courtesy check. Tires not rotated as I know the scratches on road wheels but advisor said they did? Receipt shows Valvoline oil installed not Dexos1 like car has its whole life = Really!! Bommarito Nissan down Manchester rates a 10 but Buick store 4 this time around.

5 STARS! After researching online what I wanted in a 2025 Acadia I went to Bommarito GMC and met with Tim McCoy and Dave Anderson. I had a window sticker of exactly what I wanted. They did not have the exact one on the lot but assured me they would find what I wanted. 4 days later they located the exact Acadia that I wanted and said it would be ready Friday. It's dreadful....I love using you guys for my service as I like to think that the dealer is the expert on the type of cars they sell. However, the wait times are horrendous for a an oil change and regular service. There's no loaner car to use, and the "shuttle" to take me home is just a tech or porter taking time out to give me a ride in one of the cars you have for sale... then i have to find my own ride back. That said, those things are what they are and i can deal... but how come there is no report form the "27 point" inspection which is supposedly happening when you perform the service?

I was very disappointed in the customer service. Last Fall (Nov.)I called the Buick Service Dept. to ask a question about the need for an oil change when my car had less than 1000 mi. but getting message to change oil. I left message & phone # twice—no one ever returned my call. The car wasn’t driven all winter(5Mo.)because it was left in Chesterfield while I was in Fl. I went in 7/08/25 for my first new car oil change (mileage 1,167) expecting it to be free & instead $110.00. I had also called Mazda service & asked if an appt. was needed for my husband to talk to some one about his new Mazda’s radio skipping stations & was told “No, just stop by.” He went that same day after we brought my Buick in. Mazda ignored him, no one asked to help him. Instead they turned & walked away. I guess we’ll have to try another Buick/Mazda Service Dept.

It was bad day UNTIL...I went to the garage and tried to start the car and ooops a dead battery. Called for road service and they finally jumped the car and I was away. But, would the car start again if I stopped? So I decided to go to Bommarito Buick. I was told that really test things out could not get done for about 3 hours. I had a doctor appointment much sooner. The service agent said he could do a test, but it may not tell us much. He tested and the battery was dead. I am not sure exactly what all happened, but not that long later a new battery was in my car, battery had been replaced under warrantee, and I made my doctor appointment. Great job by the service agent and my day improved greatly. I really did appreciate it.

I dropped off my vehicle on Friday, made work arrangements to accomplish. Service department never reached out to me and I texted near the end of the day to get an update. I was then told that they didn't get a chance to look at the truck that day and it would carry into Monday. I expressed my dissatisfaction about the lack of communication and I was then "coached" on the fact that the dealership had techs working overtime. Very limited apology and the text string ended on a negative tone. I will never bring my vehicles back to this dealership for service. I got the sense that they were too busy to focus on customer service and my questions were an inconvenience. When they closed my service order with the payment, there were also no questions asked about the experience. Terrible experience overall.

I have lived in the West County area my entire life and am very familiar with the Bommarito family. My husband and I heard a noise while turning at low speeds in our 2021 Suburban. When I dropped it off, I told them it sounded like it was coming from the front and only while turning, possibly CV related. We didn't hear anything for 3 days, when someone named Ben called and told us it could possibly be the rear end and GM has a bulletin requiring them to change the fluid 3 times and drive it a specific way. If that doesn't fix it, they'd replace the rear end but if it did fix it, it would cost roughly $500 in parts and labor. My husband and I couldn't believe it would be the rear end because the noise we heard was clearly coming from the front, but at this point we were already $300 in for labor. We never heard back from Ben, but 4 days later my husband called and was told that Ben was not in, but was put in contact with Joe. Joe told him the vehicle was still being worked on and that when they get the ticket written up, they'd call. Less than 10 minutes later, Joe called me and left a message saying it was ready to come pick up. When I got to the dealership, Joe was less than friendly and even less helpful. I asked him what was wrong with the vehicle and what work was performed, to which he responded, "I already told your husband." I asked if he could tell me as well, he said, "we changed the fluid in the rear end, just like we told you we would." After I paid almost $500, it is still making the same sound it was making when I dropped it off. I feel like this was handled very poorly and we are very disappointed with what I thought was a reputable dealership.

I made an appointment 3 weeks in advance and dropped my car off the night before because I had workmen at my home. My appointment time was 9:00 but it was never looked at until 1:30. It needed parts so I did not get it back until the next afternoon at 3:00. When I asked why my car was not serviced at my appointment time I was told those who stay get preferential service treatment and since I was not sitting there my car was pushed back until they could find time. Had they taken it at 9:00, could the part have been ordered then and delivered in time to get it back the same day.... hard to say but, the dealership sure didn't try.

Because of a known recall the vehicle had to come in for evaluation, and now that the issue was not identified now we are required to use a different oil and pay $220 for each ongoing oil change - all because of a manufacturer issue. Why would we now be responsible for paying more for a different product because the manufacturer made mistakes? This is something GM should be dealing with, we pay for the usual oil change but Gm covers the extra because they created the issue. Set up for a class action lawsuit against the dealer by now requiring a higher service due to manufacturer defect.

Overall the experience went relatively well. I was confused about cars being washed. Another customer was asked if she wanted her truck washed and I was not asked. I assumed the difference was the size of our vehicles and that mine would automatically be washed or at leased vacuumed and it wasn’t. On Dec.9th I had the GM Seasonal Car Care performed on my 2024 Buick Envision. Total price was $111.18. When looking at the dealer website later on that evening, listed was a coupon for 10% off all services performed at the dealer. Coupon code 39. Coupon to expire on 12/31/2025. I feel I should have been informed about this savings when I brought my car in, or when I paid for the service after it was performed. It was not offered to me. I find this very disappointing. All my oil changes have been good but the first one I got I didn’t notice right away but when it started getting warm and started using my air conditioning I started smelling a burning smell so I opened the hood and apparently who ever changed my oil that time didn’t put my dip stick back in and left it on top of the motor. So that is why I have oil all over my engine and that is why I don’t need a diagnostic oil leak

The repairs took longer than expected. The reason given was that the technician ran into unforseen issues. The reason for the repair was that the timing belt needed replacement. I later found that timing belt issues are common on GMC Terrains, at least those in the same year of manufacture as mine. Something like 2010 to 2017. You'd think they'd figure out a way to avoid the problem. First vehicle I ever had to replace a timing belt on, and I've owned many vehicles well into high mileage territory. I'm sure the repair was done properly, but it came at a very high cost, even beyond the upper end of cost reported by other owners.

I do not like the idea that in order to get service in a timely fashion a customer has to be there waiting. I was told that if I dropped my car off for service the night before or in the morning I would have a diagnosis, at the latest, the next day. Then a decision would be made as to what to do.. that's tying my car up for 2 days. BUT, if I sat there and waited I could have the diagnosis and repair in 2 1/2 hours. I have complained that why not do the cars at their appointment time and complete the work. Someone sitting in the waiting room should not take precedence. Even though a person has an appointment and shows up early they should not bump another car owner out of their dedicated service time because they have the luxury of staying. There are only so many hours in the day and I would love to drop off my car, complete a few tasks and return when called. I'm waiting but just not in the crowded germ filled waiting area. ( many customers were sitting there wearing masks). When I was there you ran out of seats in the waiting room and people were looking else where in the building to sit.

It was a great experience from start to finish. They were welcoming when you arrived, they discussed what they would be completing on your car and then they verified you had the correct ride service.
