It's dependable yet fun to drive, delivering thrilling performance, luxurious amenities, and innovative safety features. Plus, it has a sleek and sporty design that is sure to turn heads wherever it goes. From your morning commute to your weekend getaway, the 2022 Acadia makes every drive feel like an adventure.
Trim Levels (Exterior)
The 2022 Acadia trim levels are the SLE, SLT, AT4, and Denali. The SLE is the essential SUV with its muscular curves and substantial proportions that are accentuated by 18-inch aluminum wheels and signature C-shaped lights. These exquisite fixtures also show up on the SLT, along with roof-mounted side rails and a hands-free programmable liftgate. On the AT4, you'll find a trim-exclusive grille, black chrome accents, and 17-inch gloss-black wheels. As the top trim, the Denali gets its own signature grille and 20-inch ultra-bright machined aluminum wheels. No matter what trim you choose, your Acadia will look amazing in colors like Satin Steel, Midnight Blue, and Cayenne Red.
Engine (Power)
When it comes to delivering power, the 2022 Denali doesn't disappoint. The SLE and SLT come standard with a 2.0-liter turbo engine capable of producing 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. That's enough power to give the Acadia a 3,500-pound towing capacity. If you go with the AT4 or the Denali, you'll enjoy a 3.6-liter V-6 that generates 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque. The V-6 is also available for the SLT and enables the Acadia to tow up to 4,000 pounds. With the V-6 engine's innovative fuel-saving technology, the Acadia gets up to 27 mpg on the highway.
Performance
Both engines in the Acadia lineup pair with equally impressive performance dynamics. All Acadia models come equipped with a nine-speed automatic transmission that optimizes engine output while enabling the Acadia to accelerate smoothly and handle effortlessly. Front-wheel drive comes standard. If you equip your Acadia with the available all-wheel drive, it will have maximum traction and control when you're driving on wet roads and other unstable surfaces. When driving conditions are ideal, you can select the front-wheel mode, enabling the Acadia to conserve fuel. The Denali adds an adaptive ride control that adjusts damping every two milliseconds to make every ride smoother and more comfortable.
Interior
With the 2022 Acadia, you can choose between a six-seater or seven-seater cabin, both giving you up to 79 cubic feet of cargo space. The SLE has premium cloth upholstery, while the SLT features leather seating surfaces and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. If you go with the AT4, you can choose between black cloth or black leather, which pair nicely with its accents. Inside the Denali, you'll find leather seating surfaces with French seam stitching, genuine ash wood accents, and warm-tone burnished aluminum trim. All models give you access to the GMC Infotainment system so that you can stream music, get traffic updates, and make hands-free phone calls.
Safety Features
The 2022 GMC Acadia wouldn't be complete without its many intelligent safety features. These include a forward-collision alert that lets you know when you're tailgating, applying the brakes if you don't respond in time. You can also take advantage of a lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and a rear-seat reminder.
