2020 GMC Acadia

The Acadia has a strong, sculpted hood and a prominent rectangular grille with GMC lettering in the center. The AT4s grille has a black chrome finish, and most other options are silver. The headlights have LED accents, and the taillights curve around a chrome bar that also has GMC lettering. Five trim levels are available: SL, SLE, SLT, AT4, and Denali. The SL has 17-inch wheels, all-season tires, a rear windshield wiper, and tinted windows. You can add assist steps, fog lights, 18-inch wheels, chrome mirror caps, front and rear splash guards, automatic high-beams, and a hands-free power liftgate.

Choose the Acadia Denali for heated power auto-dimming side mirrors with turn signal indicators. There's also an exclusive grille with interesting three-dimensional elements and finishing, body-colored lower trim elements, and Denali emblems on the side and the back. A dual power sunroof and 20-inch aluminum wheels are optional.

A 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine is standard, and it produces 193 horsepower and 188 pound-feet of torque. Stop and start technology shuts down the engine when you stop in traffic to save fuel. It keeps accessories like the radio on and the motor starts again automatically when you use the accelerator. You can also pick a 3.6-liter V-6 engine with 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque. The active fuel management system lets you choose whether the engine prioritizes power or efficiency. A 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that gives you 230 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque is available as well.

With the 2020 Acadia, you can enjoy responsive steering and a smooth ride, even on rough roads. All of the engine options use a new nine-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive is optional.

The AT4s advanced twin-clutch all-wheel drive system enhances traction levels on broken terrain and loose surfaces. The Denali offers continuous dampening control that adjusts the independent suspension for even better handling. You can switch between two- and four-wheel drive, and sport, off-road, and towing modes allow you to customize your driving experience. The Acadia can tow up to 4,000 pounds when properly equipped.

This SUV can carry up to seven people and it's practical, comfortable, and attractive. It comes with a 4.2-inch color driver information screen, a Wi-Fi hotspot, a six-speaker sound system, an 8-inch touch screen, Apple Carplay and Android Auto compatibility, SiriusXM satellite radio, and voice recognition. A 120-volt power outlet, navigation, an 8-inch driver information screen, and a heated steering wheel are available features.

The Acadia has a variety of safety features including a rearview camera with an optional washer, lane change alert with side blind-zone alert, rear cross-traffic alert, electronic stability control, and traction control. Additional options include a first aid kit, a head-up display to help you keep your eyes on the road, adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, parking assistance, and forward collision warning.
