2020 Buick Encore

The 2020 Encore has an athletic look with LED-accented headlights and taillights. The oval grille has vertical black bars, and the Buick symbol is right in the center. It has a horizontal chrome bar going through it, and there's a small lower grille.

Four trim levels are available: 1SV, Preferred, Sport Touring, and Essence. With the base 1SV trim, you'll get 18-inch alloy wheels, heated power side mirrors, all-season tires, automatic headlights, rear privacy glass, a rear windshield wiper, and roof rails. The windshield blocks sound and UV rays to keep you and your passengers comfortable. Choose the Sport Touring model for a rear spoiler. You can also add fog lights, a power moonroof, and rain-sensing windshield wipers.

All models of the 2020 Encore come with a 1.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 138 horsepower and 148 pound-feet of torque. They use six-speed automatic transmissions.

This SUV has front-wheel drive, and all-wheel drive is optional on all trim levels except the 1SV. It's comfortable, maneuverable, and ideal for city driving. It comes with power steering, electronic stability control, and traction control. The suspension is designed for optimal handling, and it can get 25 mpg in urban areas and 30 mpg on the highway.

The 2020 Buick Encore can carry five people, and it comes with folding front and rear seats, cruise control, a power driver's seat, an 8-inch touch screen, two USB ports, push-button start, a Wi-Fi hotspot, keyless entry, and Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility. It also has a six-speaker sound system, SiriusXM satellite radio, a 4.2-inch color driver information center, and a storage compartment underneath the rear cargo area. You can use the convenient controls on the steering wheel to operate the phone interface, cruise control, the speaker system, and the driver information center.

A 120-volt power outlet, heated leather seats, a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel, dual-zone climate control, navigation, memory settings for the driver's seat, and a Bose audio system with seven premium speakers are optional features. You can add an auto-dimming rearview mirror and a storage space underneath the front passenger seat as well.

Standard safety features include a rearview camera and an alarm system with an engine immobilizer. This vehicle has 10 air bags, including driver and front passenger knee air bags, side-impact air bags, and head-curtain air bags. Additional options include rear cross-traffic alert, front and rear parking assistance, forward collision warning, and lane departure warning. You can also add side blind-zone alert to let you know about vehicles near you before you change lanes. A small display in your side mirror can let you know where any obstacles are and roadside assistance and automatic crash response are available.
